We are glad to announce that GSB will host a Scholastic Book Fair and Spirit Week from April 12 – 22! Your child will have the chance to peruse and purchase books at school, and is encouraged to dress up with their class for a bit of fun. GSB will receive a percentage of the sales to spend on books at Scholastic to help grow our classroom libraries.

Sasha has been organizing the event and put up a ‘sneak peek’ yesterday. The kids are already starting to get excited!

The book fair at school will be contactless, so no cash will change hands. The link above will lead you to set up an ‘e-wallet’ for your child, which they can use during the book fair at school. There will also be a virtual component where you can shop for books online.

More specific details will follow about when your child’s class will attend the book fair, but plan for Grades K-3 to attend during the week of April 12-16 and Grades 4-8 during the week of April 19-22.
